Policeman, 2 civilians killed in Faisalabad, Peshawar gun attacks

PESHAWAR -- Two civilians and a policeman were killed in separate gun attacks in Pakistan, media reported.

Unknown assailants on a motorcycle opened fire on people coming out of a mosque in Patang Chowk area of Peshawar Thursday (April 20), killing two civilians and wounding four others, Dunya TV reported.

The attackers fled the scene after the assault.

In another incident, unidentified gunmen attacked a police picket on Sargodha Road in Punjab's district of Faisalabad and killed one policeman, Geo News reported Friday (April 21).

Meanwhile, at least three children were wounded in a roadside blast on Quetta's Zarghoon road Friday, Dunya TV reported.

The bomb was placed in garbage and went off when the children were picking up shopping bags from a gutter.
