Pakistan, Afghanistan exchange lists of terrorists

KABUL -- Afghanistan has given Pakistan a list of terrorists allegedly hiding in Pakistan, media reported Monday (February 20).

Afghan Ambassador to Pakistan Omar Zakhilwal handed over a list of 85 Taliban and Haqqani Network leaders and 32 terror training camps, all based in Pakistan, Afghan Ministry of Interior spokesman Sediq Sediqqi said Monday (February 20), according to SAMAA News.

The Afghan government is urging Pakistan to shut down the camps and to hand over the terrorists, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty reported.

Earlier, the Pakistani army asked Afghanistan to hand over 76 terrorists and to strike at terrorist camps in Afghanistan, Dawn reported.
