QUETTA -- A roadside blast killed head of bomb disposal squad (BDS) commander Abdul Razzaq and police constable Abdul Majeed on Monday (February 13) night in Quetta, media reported.
The incident took place on Quetta's Sariab road when BDS personnel were busy defusing a planted bomb near the overhead bridge, police said.
The slain BDS official had saved the city from several bombs in the past.
