RAWALPINDI -- Army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited South Waziristan on Sunday (February 12), according to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).
Gen. Bajwa spent the day with troops deployed at forward posts and expressed his appreciation for their bravery and commitment, the ISPR said.
He also directed government efforts to continue focusing on stability operations and socio-economic development, the ISPR added.
