ISLAMABAD – The banned sectarian outfit Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ) is more lethal than Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), a former chief of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) said Tuesday (January 24) in Islamabad, according to SAMAA.
LeJ took militancy to the cities, unlike the tribally based TTP, Lt. Gen. (ret.) Zaheer ul Islam said in his first media appearance since retiring in 2014.
"When you provide weapons to ideology, it cannot be turned on and off at will," he said.
