Baloch militant surrenders; police arrest 2 suspected target killers

QUETTA -- A leader of a banned Baloch militant group Monday (January 9) in Quetta surrendered to authorities, saying that he would serve Pakistan as a loyal citizen.

Falak Sher Badini ran the social media website of the banned Balochistan Liberation Army, The Express Tribune reported Tuesday (January 10).

In Karachi, the Sindh Police Counter-Terrorism Department Monday (January 9) arrested two suspected target killers, Dunya reported, quoting Sindh Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Pervez Chandio as saying.

In Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police Monday (January 9) defused a 15kg bomb, SAMAA reported. The bomb was attached to a pushcart.
