2 bombs target police in Peshawar

PESHAWAR -- Two roadside bombs exploded in Peshawar on December 2, apparently targeting members of the police, Dawn reported.

One remote-controlled bomb exploded in Karkhano Market moments after a police vehicle passed.

Meanwhile, a second bomb exploded in the Chamkani area, apparently targeting Chamkani Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Abdul Salam, KP Rural Superintendent of Police (SP) Furqan Bilal said.

No casualties were reported in either incident.
