ISIL militant among 3 killed in Karachi, Murree

KARACHI -- An "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant" (ISIL) member was among at least three outlaws recently killed in Pakistan, media reported.

Punjab Police Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) personnel recently killed the ISIL terrorist in the Murree area, SAMAA reported, adding that an ISIL suspect escaped.

Meanwhile, the para-military Rangers November 18 in Karachi killed two members of the Uzair Baloch crime gang, the Sindh Rangers said, adding that two Rangers were injured in cross-fire.

Separately, security forces November 17 in Qila Abdullah District, Balochistan, arrested a suspected Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) member, the Frontier Corps said, according to Dawn.
