Pakistani army chief approves execution of 7 terrorists

RAWALPINDI -- Pakistani army chief Gen. Raheel Sharif September 22 signed the death warrants of seven convicted terrorists belonging to the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and other proscribed outfits, Inter-Services Public Relations said, according to Geo News.

The terrorists were convicted of killing civilians, police officers and troops, ISPR said. They also were involved in sectarian slayings, ISPR added.

Meanwhile, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bomb Disposal Squad recently defused a 3kg bomb hidden in Peshawar and arrested a suspect, Geo News reported September 23.
