Bombings in Sindh, Swat injure 14

ISLAMABAD --Muslims in Pakistan September 13 celebrated Eid ul Adha, unfazed by a suicide bombing in Sindh Province.

The bomber blew himself up during Eid prayer in Shikarpur District September 13, wounding 11 Pakistanis, including two policemen, SAMAA reported. The bomber's companion fled.

Also in Shikarpur, a pair of would-be suicide bombers approached an imambargah on the same day, but police fatally shot one and arrested the other, SAMAA reported.

A remote-controlled bomb in Bari Kot, Swat, recently destroyed a police vehicle and injured at least three police officers, Geo News reported September 12.
