Pakistani forces kill 9 terrorists, arrest 52 suspects

ISLAMABAD --Pakistani troops recently killed nine terrorists and arrested 52 suspected terrorists nationwide, media reported.

Troops August 21 killed six terrorists during Operation Khyber III in Raj Gul Valley, Khyber Agency, near the Afghan border, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said, according to Geo News and SAMAA.

Troops recently arrested 10 suspects and seized a weapon cache in the Thall area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), the ISPR said, adding that authorities made another two arrests in the Juglot area, Gilgit-Baltistan, August 21, according to SAMAA and Geo News.

Security forces recently killed three militants in a shoot-out in Awaran District, Balochistan Province, official sources said August 20, according to Dawn.

Troops August 20 nabbed 40 suspected militants in Quetta, Mastung and Awaran districts, Balochistan, the Frontier Corps said, according to Dawn.
