ISLAMABAD -- At least 14 militants were killed in fighting in Khyber Agency August 16, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement, according to Geo News.
Pakistani forces carrying out air and ground operations destroyed nine militant hide-outs in the Raj Gal Valley, Dunya News reported.
The dead militants belonged to Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Lashkar-e-Islam (LI), Pajhwok Afghan News reported.
Bases in the Raj Gal Valley enable militants to flee to Afghanistan after carrying out terrorist acts in Pakistan, media reported.
