KARACHI -- A man named Sarfraz has confessed to killing three journalists among others, Dunya TV reported July 26.
Police arrested Sarfraz in Karachi and are conducting raids to arrest his accomplices.
Sarfraz is accused of belonging to a banned outfit. He reportedly confessed to killing a father and son in a 2013 sectarian attack and of gunning down three employees of a private TV channel in 2014, according to the investigation report.
Authorities also accuse him of killing traffic police officers and a Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) worker.
