RAWALPINDI -- Pakistani authorities have confirmed the death of Umar Narai, the mastermind of the December 2014 Army Public School (APS) massacre in Peshawar and other terrorist attacks, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said July 13, according to Dunya TV.
Narai, who had a number of aliases, was killed in Nangarhar Province, Afghanistan, July 9, ISPR said.
The APS massacre in December 2014 left more than 140 children and teachers dead, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL) reported.
Narai also plotted the January attack on Bacha Khan University in Charsadda, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, that killed 21 students and teachers, according to RFE/RL.
