15 Pakistanis wounded in Quetta, Mardan bombings

QUETTA -- Roadside bombings in Quetta and Mardan District recently injured at least 15 Pakistanis, media reported.

A bomb planted in Quetta exploded July 6 as a security force convoy was passing through, injuring four people, Dunya TV reported. Nobody in the convoy was hurt.

Security forces arrested six suspects in the area afterward, sources said.

At least 11 people, including a police officer, were injured when an improvised explosive device (IED) exploded in Mardan District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), July 5, KP Superintendent of Police (SP) for Operations Saifullah told Dawn.

Meanwhile, police in Karachi arrested two suspected members of a banned outfit July 5, Dunya TV reported.
