PESHAWAR -- A Pakistani police officer and a retired army NCO June 1 were killed in Quetta and Peshawar, while a powerful storm in different parts of Pakistan took at least 12 lives the same day.
Motorcyclists gunned down Police Sub-Inspector Mukhtar Ahmed in Quetta, police said, according to SAMAA.
Motorcyclists in Peshawar fatally shot Raj Wali, a retired army subedar, Assistant Superintendent of Police Waseem Riaz said, according to Dawn.
Meanwhile, a storm after heavy rain in Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and the tribal belt killed at least 12 people, Dawn reported.
